Left 4 Dead 2 getting Resident Evil 6 treatment and vice versa

It’s official: Valve and Capcom are teaming up for a L4D2 and Resident Evil crossover of sorts.

The L4D2 cast will appear in Resident Evil 6′s “No Mercy” mode, exclusive to PC which will be released for free on April 5.

Each character comes equipped with a specific loadout created just for RE6 Mercenaries: No Mercy, and the Special Infected will be included as well.

This spring, the Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman will appear in Left 4 Dead 2, and currently, Valve is working on integrating them.

More through Capcom Unity.

I have, like, a gazillion screens for this downloading right now – so, check back in a few for the update.

EDIT: Okay the shots are in there – as is a video in case you missed it.

If the maps are good for L4D2 then I will be happy.. But I don’t like capcom, so I hope this is the most Valve and Capcom would do together.. Imagine them making a game together D:

I’d understand more if they were making the L4D2 part featuring RE6 chars exclusive but making the RE6 part with L4D2 chars exclusive is just plain dumb! Most people who have RE6 aren’t going to be rebuying it for PC :P
