American McGee fielding interest in Alice 3 Kickstarter, rights still with EA

Alice 3 could happen if American McGee manages to drum up enough interest for a Kickstarter campaign, and if he can wrestle the license away from current holder EA. The developer has posed the question to fans on Facebook.

Over on Facebook he wrote:

Since the post went up he's had a lot of likes and supportive comments. How about you, would you like to see a third Alice game?

Meanwhile, McGee has been making waves for comments made about EA, where he suggested the publisher tricked gamers into thinking Alice was an action game. He then issued a quick contraction. See what he said here.
