Ty the Tasmanian Tiger set for return on Windows 8 and mobile devices

Here's one to search for in your memory bank. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is scheduled to return in a new PC and mobile game developed by Krome Studios.

Ty first appeared in 2002 and enjoyed three PS2 games before being locked away. The last official iteration was Ty 3: Night of the Quinkan in 2005, even though the character made an appearance in Boomerang Blast on iOS devices.

The game will work on Windows 8 devices and is due to be published my Microsoft. As noted on Shack News, the title will feature over 30 levels of platform tomfoolery. All of which, it must be noted, is in Rayman-styled 2D.

Sounds greeee...I'll stop.
