Fire Emblem: Awakening will receive free content across the Spring
Nintendo will support Fire Emblem: Awakening with free content across the Spring, it has been revealed. Although some free content is already available alongside paid DLC, players will be able to download four new maps across the coming weeks.

“A Hard Miracle” is the first map to release and should be available for North American 3DS users right now. In this adventure, Chrom stumbles across a mysterious woman who must be rescued.
Next up will be “Ghost of Blade” on March 28, which will feature a bodiless spirit and some kind of sacrifice. “Wellspring of Trust” is looking to challenge players with plenty of foes on April 11, while “The Radiant Hero” rounds off the extra content on April 25, pitting Chrom and his buddies in a search for an illustrious hero.
All of this content should download automatically via the SpotPass function, as long as you’re connected to the Internet.
Thanks, Siliconera

This is how you do DLC right. A bunch of Free DLC, and some paid content. From a value perspective, Fire Emblem Awakening is one of the best. The game is amazing. And is my Game of the Year right now.

I think of it as a overall game of the year nominee. Metro Last Light is to similar to other shooters. Fire Emblem is one of those rare SRPGs that does everything right.
And seriously, I don’t even like Strategy RPGs. I hate them, but Fire Emblem has made me change my mind about the whole genre. I’ll be picking up
Valkyria Chronicles because of how awesome Fire Emblem is.
