Painkiller: Hell & Damnation getting Steam Workshop, mod support

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation developer The Farm51 has opened up its hellish shooter to the community, by adding mod and Steam Workshop support into the mix. It's also coming to Linux and Mac soon.

In a press release sent to VG247 this afternoon, publisher Nordic Games confirmed that Painkiller Hell & Damnation's mod tools would be based on the tech used to develop the full game. The mod tools will go live early April, and we'll update once we have a specific date.

You can enlist to be an approved modder and Steam Workshop contributor over on the game's Steam forum thread here.
