Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon hints surface online

Something Far Cry 3 related seems to be on the way, although nobody has any real idea what it is.

The weightiest evidence comes from Brazil’s video games classification system, which has a new listing for something called Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

The title is listed for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and is definitely distinct from the original Far Cry 3 classification.

XBLA newshound lifelower then turned up what appeared to be cover art for a digital release; the original tweet is gone but NeoGAF preserved the artwork.

Meanwhile, Far Cry 3 lead writer Jeffrey Yohalem gave Joystiq a positive answer when the site suggested players didn’t want to abandon the world and characters of Far Cry 3 yet,

“Yes. I’m working on something now that will be surprising, I think, when it’s announced. But it definitely is a ‘strike while the iron’s hot’ thing, and we’ll see,” he said.

Thanks, CVG.

@4 He’s talking about TRON. The virtual world in there is called: “The Grid”. Just a joke.

I want scuba diving gear and underwater areas with more than random weed.

Blood Dragon is not related whatsoever to Rook Island, it’s it own story, and stars a new hero, the game will be made available on PSN and XBLA for 15$. Well worth it

I asked questions during my time at Ubisoft, and that’s what I was able to get. It’s in it,s final phase and we should hear about it soon. tbh the gameplay is a bit cooler too
