A Resident Evil 6 film is in the early stages at Sony Pictures and Screen Gems, but at present, neither Milla Jovovich nor Paul W.S. Anderson have been confirmed. The last film in the series, Resident Evil: Retribution, grossed $221 million worldwide. The film is slated to hit theaters September 12, 2014, so there's still quite a ways to go before it hits cinemas. Thanks, MCV.
