That’s great IGN, have Colin Moriarty write the review. The same guy who thought the Vita was destined to sell better than the 3DS.

@8- Colin Moriarty is a Sony fanboy to the core. He simply doesn’t like Nintendo products. His complaints about the game are weak, and he rather play Resistance Burning Skies on the Vita than quality Nintendo titles on the 3DS. I would take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Not to mention, he did say the Vita was destined to outsell the 3DS because of Uncharted, Wipeout, and ….. wait for it ….wait for it… Resistance Burning Skies.

Colin is a facepalm waiting to happen. I got the game, and it’s freaking awesome.

IGN did what GAMESPOT had done with RE6 review… that is one big pile of sticky shajt and not a objective review…

Just slapped down my pre-order for the game. I have complete faith in the dev studio and what their aims for the game.

That IGN review was utter garbage, but I *never* take them seriously anyway. Looking forward to seeing what GameSpot and GameTrailers make of it.

While i remember that IGN also scored low the first Castlevania LOS, i see a tendency here. If someone says that a game is garbage when everybody else says its good , everybody complains. If a game that everybody says it sucks and somebody says its good you call him a sellout.

What if a reviewer from certain site actually liked Alien Colonial Marines? What if somebody hated Crysis 3 or Tomb Raider or God of War? Does it make it a sellout or a poor reviewer job?

Im certain that each one of you liked a game that everybody says its garbage and hated a game that everybody loves.

Start thinking outisde the box ppl. And im not saying this for IGN specifically.

On other hand, i been playing Mirror of Fate since last week and im having a difficult time to review it because it has a lot of good things and a lot of bad things and im struggling with my faith in Mercury Steam, my Castlevania fanatism and the fact that i really liked the first LOS game.

@12: Hey, I *love* unpopular games – one of my fave games this gen is Bionic Commando (the HD reboot by Grin) and I genuinely prefer Wanted: Weapons of Fate to Gears of War.

I just don’t trust or respect IGN’s reviews, never have. GameSpot has always been the “gold standard” review site for me.

@15 Good for you. Like i said its not just for IGN i dont like them sometimes either and my gold standard review site for me its gamesradar and gametrailers…that doesnt change mi opinion in what i said.

You just went to the extreme opposite with your funny example. In that case… “you are a soldout and you suck because you should have said that you loved the E.T game and Superman 64.”

Oh, so you are a balanced gamer who always links to his site saying MS, Sony will bow out before Ninty based on nothing, and Colin is a fanboy since he reviewed the game as a Castlevania fan?
Surely IGN Ninty team disagrees with you, and they run IGN.
Deal with the reviews, they are personal opinions, nothing more. They gave Gravity Rush a lower score than what I think it deserves, doesn’t matter to me, they are free for their own opinions.

My article was based on everybody saying Nintendo was going to third party next generation with no facts other than the January NPD was bad for the Wii U in January. I was just showing people, with facts, that Sony and Microsoft are closer to that reality. The article has nothing but facts and numbers in there. And its more of a dis on Michael Pachter to be honest.

That doesn’t make me a fanboy cause I know how to research a companies financial reports. Nintendo is good financially. Sony is not so good. Those are just facts. I don’t have any problem with Sony or MS.

A 71 is much higher than a 47, so IGN’s review is far under the average. I understand it’s his opinion.

If you’re looking for a balanced review, then check out GameSpot’s . They gave it a 7/10, which seems eminently fair.
