Assassin’s Creed 4 team has “very cool ideas” for PS4 controller
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will not only take advantage of the horses under the hood of PS4, but its new DualShock 4 controller as well.

Speaking with OPM, content manager Carston Myhill told the site the team has “very cool ideas” for the new controller.
“For PS4, the primary difference is the enhanced graphics, the enhanced visuals” he sadi. “Now on our side we’ll be supporting that side of things. You imagine a rich epic vibrant world like the Caribbean is ideal visually to take advantage of the horsepower of the PS4.
“We’ll be supporting the new controller as well, we’ve got some very cool ideas for that”.
Myhill said more features in the plan will be revealed over “the coming months”.
Assassin’s Creed 4 and all its pirate-themed booty arrive on PC, PS4, and other next-gen consoles on October 29.

well at the risk of sounding a bit ‘jaded’ I’ll say this, “Its not like I haven’t heard this type of stuff before…”

One of the worst developers around imo.
Rush out the same crap game every year (2 was half decent, I’ll give them that, the rest are crap), do nothing new or interesting with any of them, and then try to convince people every year that they’re going to do something new and interesting with the next version.

Any big box developer thinking of doing anything ‘cool’ based on a controller or other peripheral should be utterly destroyed instantly by hordes of enflamed zombies.
Seriously, we don’t care about motion control, we don’t care about vibration, WE. JUST. WANT. GOOD. GAMES.

@4 YEAH! Fuck controllers and all this shit, we don’t need it! They should have stayed with the atari 2600 controller! Maybe we would have more good games!
Seriously now, I imagine this ‘cool’ feature a slide your finger downwards to use the hidden blade.
