Dota 2 surpasses Skyrim to break Steam users record

Dota 2 has surpassed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to nab the record of most concurrent users on Steam. Dota 2 peaked at 297,010 users on March 1, overtaking Skyrim’s 287,411, which at the RPG’s launch was the highest total player number Valve’s service had ever recorded for a single title. The occasion was noted by a Reddit user and even charted, showing the MOBA’s player base growing steadily; expect it to hold the record for quite some time.

Thanks, PCGamesN.

I can’t get into DoTA i can play 1 match then i have to stop for awhile its just not that engaging to me, also it’s something about the balancing in the game that annoys me.

I’m loving DotA2. LoL never got me interested in it but DotA I’m really loving and getting into. The only annoying thing is, I’m pretty sure the matchmaking doesn’t take into account the language that you choose to filter as I still land up with Russians XD. Also getting a decent team and playing with friends always helps to enjoy it.

I have nine copies to give away on Steam. Holla your Steam ID if you want a copy. First come first serve and all that jazz.
