Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 Wii U: "I wouldn't rule it out", says Cox

Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 isn't coming to Wii U at launch, and just yesterday we heard that it wasn't happening due to resource issues. However, producer Dave Cox has opened things up a bit, giving Wii U owners a vague glimmer of hope.

Nintendo Life quite rightly suggests that the team at Mercury Steam will have been too busy to commit to a Wii U build, seeing as it is currently working on Lords of Shadow 2 for PC, PS3 & Xbox 360, and has just wrapped on 3DS companion game Mirror of Fate.

Speaking with the site Cox responded to a question about the lack of resources, and the absence of a Wii U edition, offering a slight change in message.

Said Cox, "No plans for those very reasons, but I wouldn't rule it out completely."

It may well happen after all, but we'll keep an eye out for any news on the matter going forward.
