New Killzone: Shadow Fall teaser trailer sets up the plot

Killzone: Shadow Fall has received a new teaser trailer from Guerilla Games. It sets up a world 30 years after the events of Killzone 3, where the Helghast survivors want retribution, refusing to accept humanity’s pleas for forgiveness. Shit’s about to get real, it seems.

Here’s some bonus Killzone: Shadow Fall content for you to check out:

@3 Can you imagine trying to bargain with Kane from Command & Conquer for example? He’d probably just cackle in your face and then shoot it off.

Anyone else thinks that voice sounds like the guy from Spartacus?

Anyway, on the PS meeting Hulst mentioned something about two societies living side by side but separated by a wall, much like how Berlin was during the Cold War. I thought he was speaking figuratively but you can indeed see a big wall that separates two parts of that town, so I wonder if the ISA and the Helghast really are dividing this new planet.

Looks great. I can’t wait. Looks like ISA won and took over Hellghan or something similar anyways and made the Helghast live on a reservation or something. Sounds kinda like the new Total Recall movie that came out last year.

30 years later? WTF man what happened to the ending of KillZone3? They’re just going to forget about that. This is stupid to jump that far. I could see 5 years maybe but 30 years come on man this is dumb. The war ended at the end of 3 by a handful of guys trapped on the Helghans home planet….kiss my ass.

I’m pissed they’re not continuing the Sev and Rico story. KZ3 was awesome man.

SPOILER ALERT*******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vasari isn’t even fucking dead. Rico killed a fucking stand in look a like for crying out loud! Watch the opening scenes of KZ3 with Vasari’s daughter. The impostor takes her hand to kiss it and she pulls back quick once she notices its not her father. At the end of 3 there’s a cut scene after or before the main end credits that shows two Helghan soldiers approaching what seems like a capsule or small space ship that landed back on the planet. They open it and say welcome back sir. They never show whose inside but come on its fucking Vasari.

30 years later he has to be dead. So whose leading the new Helgasht and what happened to the real Vasari. This is some bullshit and I better get some good reasonable answers soon.

^Just watched it again and indeed it shows the wall and the Helghan side quite clearly. Somehow I missed it during the live stream.

It will be strange if this game doesn’t open with a speech from Scolar Visari(Brian Cox).

Proving theirs no better villian, than an English man… Playing a German. Cuz the Helghan are Germans… In space… With a serious fetish for gasmasks…
