The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s soundtrack is being co-composed by audio lead Gene Rozenberg, who previously served a similar role on Project Copernicus, the 38 Studios MMO. In a video interview on GameInformer, Rozenberg describes the lessons he learned from the project – making sure the music offers enough variety; ensuring different pieces are in tone with each other; keeping music ambient where it needs to be; and making combat music reactive and adapative. You can also hear some samples and view some screenshots of Copernicus and The Witcher 3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected in 2014, on PC, PlayStation 4 and other unnamed consoles.

I hope the instruments used are more akin to The Witcher 1, they had this great sound to them that made the soundtrack unique among fantasy RPG games. Assassins of Kings sounded a bit too generic.
