Queensland passes R18+ game legislation

As of today, R18+ games can be sold in Queensland, after the region's Governor signed off on legislation vital to the movement.

Kotaku reports that the Classification of Computer Games and Images and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2013 was signed after much 'uming' and 'awing' on the matter, and that R18+ games can go on sale across Queensland from today.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma + is the first R18+ game to be sold in Queensland, and it goes on sale from March 7th.

Good times.
