Fire Emblem: Awakening Smash Pack DLC adds new class, recruit

Fire Emblem: Awakening's newest DLC is more than just a map pack.

Siliconera reports the Smash Pack has our heroes encountering a battle between Roy and Ike, who will be familiar to fans of the series (or Smash Brothers).

Completing the new maps rewards the player with an item that enables a new class the Bride - and makes Eirika recruitable.

Nintendo has not put a date to the Smash pack or its follow up, the Rogues Pack. Three DLC packs have been released to date in the US Champions of Yore, Golden Pack and Lost Bloodlines.

Fire Emblem Awakening is available now in the US, and arrives in Australia and Europe in April.
