Crysis: original game modded to support Oculus Rift head-tracking

Crysis has been given the Oculus Rift mod treatment, throwing head tracking support into the mix.

Created by Nathan Andrews – the same chap who added Rift support into Half-Life 2 recently – the Crysis mod isn’t complete, but it works.

Said Andrews, “I ported the Half-Life 2 VR mod that I’ve been working on over to Crysis and Crysis Wars (and also Cryengine 3 if anyone is interested in building a game from the ground up with VR support).”

Here’s a video of Crysis and Oculus Rift working in tandem:

Impressed?

First Crysis was such a great game, now i’m playing Crysis 3 and I can’t believe what they have done with the game. Such a mess.
