BioShock PS Vita is out of Levine’s hands until a deal is signed

BioShock PS Vita is still a long way off, according to Irrational Game’s founder Ken Levine. He says it won’t begin until people start signing cheques.

Speaking on an IGN podcast, Levine said, “I’ve got my fingers crossed that that’s going to happen because it’s something I want to do but until somebody starts signing the cheques, there’s nothing I can do.”

He stressed that the business deal is still to be negotiated between Take-Two, Irrational and Sony, and suggested that production hasn’t started yet.

It could be a long way off.

Meanwhile a season Pass for BioShock Infinite was announced last week, and got some gamers upset. Check out details here.

So, if he starts developing the game in 2013 we can expect it to hit retail on 2015-16?

Another game that will end up on 3DS then port to every support but Sony’s handheld.

It really looks like what happened with Resident Evil Revelations :
a Resident Evil game announced for PSP and that never materialized.

But it’s more about stressing how Sony can poorly handle great opportunity.

@4 i think he/she means that they might switch platform then eventually port to every other system but vita. but its sounds like he/she is still stung about the Resident Evil Revelations situation.
