Ashes Cricket 2013: Macquarie University one of two clubs created in game

Macquarie University Cricket Club and Exeter University Men’s Cricket Club have won an appearance in Ashes Cricket 2013. Publisher 505 Games held a two week social media campaign to choose the lucky clubs, attracting 20,000 Facebook fans and 16,245 votes. A number of celebrities, including Hugh Grant, got involved, and competing teams produced all sorts of videos and initiatives in order to have their team recreated in-game. Ashes Cricket 2013 is due in the UK on PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on June 21.
