UK Charts: Crysis 3 nano-jumps to first place
Crysis 3 has fended off competition from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance to claim this week’s UK number one.
Crytek’s victory comes despite Crysis 3 earning lower review scores than Platinum Game’s brawler. We’ve got both review round-ups here:

What the hell is wrong with the UK market? First Colonial Marines on top, now this… I see Tomb Raider also getting the top spot come next month

The major complaint in the C3 review page appears to be a nonsense suggestion that it’s scores are low.
By any average, they are not! Kotaku’s an interesting anomaly, though. One of its comments: “This is it: The mediocre game that screenshots will sell.” I don’t have the slightest interest in Crysis, though, so cbsa to sift through all the opinions for a clear picture, either way.

America and the US love shooters. I mean, the UK ate up Aliens Colonial Marines. That game is shit…. but if it has a gun, and its in first person, you’ll probably sell well in the UK and America.
Thats why most developers make first person shooters. I remember when Ni No Kuni hit number one, and everybody was like see Francis we play more than shooters. Well…. were Ni No Kuni at? Gone, of the top 20 as fast as it got there.
Now another shooter is at the top. A generic looking dude in a power suit. I played Crysis 2 and it sucks balls. No originality, level design sucked. Its like Crytek only cares about graphics. Uhhhh whatever, my rant is done.
