Disney Infinity: Cars playset is pricey at £39.99 RRP

Disney Infinity launches in June with three starter playsets; Monsters University, Pirates of the Carribean and The Incredibles. However, additional toy kits could cost around £40 a piece.

Pixar's Cars is the first separate playset to be released alongside the game on June 28th. Retailers are currently pricing it around the £40 mark, suggesting that extra playsets could cost parents and gamers a lot of money.

ONM has done a little price round-up to see how much the playset and two extra figures - Mater and Francesco Bernoulli - will cost come launch day:

Amazon has the full kit at £39.99, Mater figure at £15.99 and the Bernoulli figure at £12.99.

Game is selling the full kit at £34.99, with both Mater and Bernoulli at £12.99.

Finally, Shopto is selling the Cars playset at £31.85 and both figures at £11.84.
