RIFT Update 2.2 launches next week, Carnival of the Ascended is back

RIFT Update 2.2 update will release next week, and as part of the MMO's second anniversary celebrations, the Carnival of the Ascended is returning. The event will include two new games, prizes, a dragon parade, and other goodies. The update also comes with the new Steppes of Infinity zone event, the new 2nd Tier PvP Planar Attunement, and Tier 3 regular Planar Attunement. Former subs can also come back for free March 21 -25, and current subs can participate in an anniversary bonus event from March 21 -April 4 which gives them a 20% increase to various stats and gains.
