Resident Evil 6 benchmark test released for PC users
Resident Evil 6 is out next month, and you can now perform a benchmark test to see if your system can handle the action. If you go to the GeForce website and click “Downloads”, you’ll nab the file. Your system will then be ‘scored”on how well it will run the game. Game’s out March 22.

I really like this game. It’s really unfortunate that it got such negative criticism

I think the benchmark is not working, at all. Whatever options I choose the result is mostly the same. On everything high I got C on low again C. The FPSs increased by 2-3. It is nice that Capcom do benchmarks in an evra when those things are absolutely forgotten, but it would have been nice for it to actually work.

@2 I tried to download it just to check and post my results, but I didn’t feel like waiting 50 minutes for the download to finish.

Min: 20 fps, Max: 53 fps
Got rank A with everything turned to max, even when the framerate tanked to 20 fps at the more demanding sections.
I can’t shake the feeling the game is poorly optimized.

@5 *shrugs* We’ll see, but I’m skeptical. Truth to be told I’m not interested in playing it, anyway.

Got rank S with everything on max in 2560×1440. Running a gtx 680 with a i7 920 o/c’d to 3ghz. Dipped to low 30s / high 20s during the most demanding scenes though.

This game isn’t even worth stealing. Congrats capcom you beat piracy.
