Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit developer Arkedo Studio has ceased games development

Arkedo Studio, which released Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit digitally last fall, has decided to stop developing games.

According to creative director Aurelien Regard, the firm has two finished, self-funded products it's currently sitting on which have yet to be published - but otherwise, game development is no longer part of its repertoire.

"Arkedo, the company, is still here. But no one's employed anymore. No more games are produced either," said Regard.

"Arkedo hasn't closed down and is not bankrupt, going into administration or whatever big word, as it is managed properly. It is interesting for the structure to still be here as after HellYeah!, we've made two small games which are finished but you're not aware of them yet. We hope to release them soon and it should be fine on this side."

Regard went on to say that the studio disbanded while enough funds were still in the coffer for employees, and since he and co-founder Camille Guermonprez's " long-term objectives would both drive both away from Arkedo," the disbandment was "sped up the end" by two years.

Regard said he hopes to see the two remaining projects releases "soon."
