Its a freemium game, where you can spend the equivalent of $100 on a single car and have a waiting timer for all kinds of stuff in case you aren’t willing to pay. EA ruined the IP.

I just can’t enjoy a racing game that doesn’t accurately render the surface texture and shading of my driver seat, or the doesn’t use the molecules in a fleck of paint to properly display sub-surface light scattering. No waxing rainbow reflection in the headlights means no sale.
