Nintendo Direct: Zelda Oracle of Ages & Seasons hit 3DS in Feb, more
Nintendo is hosting a Japanese edition of Nintendo Direct, at 11am GMT this morning. It will focus on 3DS, and we'll have all of the news right here when it happens.
The show opened with a tiny Mii version of Nintendo president Satoru Iwata in a house full of Nintendo memorabilia.
It's for a 3DS title called Tomodachi Connection that sees players' Miis socialising and playing mini-games on an island, and collecting items for their home. It's coming out April 18th in Japan.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons will hit 3DS Virtual Console in Japan on February 27th.
Professor Layton and the Azran Legacies received a new trailer, showing off plenty of interaction with characters, cut-scenes and of course, puzzles. The game will hit Japan on February 28th.
A new Level-5 RPG called Ghost World Watch was shown, featuring a young boy running around a small town fighting a range of mad creatures in turn-based battles.
Touch Detective is getting a block-puzzler spin-off that sees players matching strange, mushroom monsters. it was bizarre.
DragonBall Heroes: Ultimate Mission was shown, and will see players entering into a string of animated card battles featuring characters from the show.
Namco Bandai will dispense QR codes with new new missions after the game launches. It's out February 28th in Japan.
Mad mech game Super Robo Taisen UX is getting a 3DS XL bundle in Japan, when the game launches on March 14th.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate got a new gameplay trailer, showing Simon Belmont platforming his way through Dracula's castle, and unleashing a barrage of whip attacks.
Alucard, Gabriel and Trevor Belmont were also shown in action. The game's out March 20th in Japan, and March 8th in Europe.
Level-5's Guild 02 collection was shown next, revealing three new collaborative games. The first was a first-person horror title, the second saw a tank fighting giant ants, and the third saw a boy and his pet robot fighting giant monsters. All three games will hit 3DS eShop later this year.
Shin Megami Tensei IV received a new trailer showing off plenty of turn-based combat, monster summoning and kick-ass J-Rock. It was all rather loud and colourful.
It was confirmed for release in Japan on May 23rd, and Nintnedo is also releasing a limited edition 3DS console bundle.
Capcom's Monster Hunter 3G was shown, and it was confirmed that gamers can play simultaneously with between Wii U and a 3DS handheld using a new Wii U LAN adapter.
Monster Hunter 4 also received a superb 3DS trailer. It still doesn't have a solid Japanese release date beyond 'Summer 2013'.
