Mass Effect 3: Citadel is BioWare’s final single-player expansion, and it’s out in March. Free multiplayer expansion Reckoning is also inbound, coming next week.

Eurogamer reports that the DLC will launch March 5th for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. it’ll cost $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points respectively. It comes after the free multiplayer expansion ‘Reckoning’, which launches February 26th, which adds new weapons, maps and gear into the mix.

BioWare community manager Chris Priestly posted a ‘Citadel’ synopsis on the BioWare forums that reads:

“When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad – as well as the cast from the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

“When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favourite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel.

“With unique content and cinematics featuring your friends and romance interests in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.”

It’s a whopping expansion that surpasses Microsoft’s 2GB limit on digital content, so you have to download it in two parts.

Wii U hasn’t been mentioned at all.

What do you think? Does it sound good?

Feel bad for saying this but the sp DLC seems pointless now, why not show some ambition and do post ending DLC playing as your romance or closest team mate or something. Disappointed.

I agree. Pointless. For me too anyway
They kept adding more bits of the story that happens before the end of the main story. It gives me no motivation.

Anyway, I’m looking forward the next ME game, and I hope it will be able to jump properly next time. eheh

look at sad bioware/ea trying to milk every penny of the consumers

seriously, the DLC’s cost more then the game itself!

there is no season pass or anything else

but i’ll say this bioware is no more, it’s EA’s slaves
a really greedy slave who made a deal with the devil (EA) and now trying to cash the fans one more time

Bah to this and bah to bioware
