Knack PS4 trailer – not hyperrealistic

Sony made an interesting decision in their event planning tonight; the first PS4 game they showed was not something that attempts to look super real.

That, of course, does not mean Knack looks visually unimpressive. It is, actually, quite attractive to look at. If you agree with that assessment, you’ll probably want to take a gander at the trailer they showed once again. And you can do that right now, because I have embedded it below.

I think the point of the presentation was to show all this enthusiastic developers talking about their proyects and ideas, not to show hyperrealistic graphics. And they made it sound like the ps4 is the dream of all entertainment software creators. I’m really excited for ps4.

This game kinda reminds me of the original Crash Bandicoot… though with much better physics and much worse art direction.

@1, Developers said exactly the same thing about PS3 when Sony showed PS3 for the first time.

This game looked fun and all, but it also looked easily possible on a current-gen console.
