GRID 2 gameplay: Barcelona and the Red Bull Ring
More moving imagery for GRID 2. Head down for some late night elimination racing on the streets of Barcelona and a visit to the Red Bull Ring.
In case you missed it on Friday, we also posted some gameplay of returning favourite Chicago streets at night.
GRID 2 is available May 28 in the US and May 31 in the EU on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

i hope so it’s just alpha version,because i see all video of grid 2 and it’s look like NFS,allmost never using brakes.Grid was definitely better.

They had the chance to be better than GT5 and Forza, but they prefer to compete with NFS and Blur…

Watch the video again, there are a lot of brakes applied in there.
From what I can see, it’s exactly like the first Grid minus the cockpit view.
@2
The thing is, they can’t. Not unless Codemaster has a bottomless checkbook.
No third party developer could ever hope to match the scope and the production value that GT and Forza has. There’s Project CARS but even I have my reservation about that.

I’m just gonna be a cunt and point out that Need for Speed (Shift) actually does have cockpits.
@3 It never really did, nor did it need to. GRiD was always more of a Project Gotham type of game, and it was awesome for the same reason.
You had just enough realism to draw you in, but it was ten times more stupid fun than any GT or Forza is likely to get.
This time it seems like they’re ditching any notion of realism to pander to the arcade gamer instead. It’s gonna be GRiD 2 (Dirt 4).
