Aliens: Crucible – demo footage of Obsidian’s canned RPG surfaces
Aliens: Crucible is the canned RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. Demo footage of the axed title has been found online, created by studio animator Danny Garnett between 2008 and 2009.
Garnett now works at Sony Computer Entertainment America, but his footage shows several alien breeds, a jeep and some marines, all set to a distinctly ‘Aliens’ soundtrack. What do you think?
It comes as Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart expressed how much he’d like the studio to create Fallout: New Vegas 2. he even revealed his dream pitch for the game here.

I’m watching it now. It may not be available in all regions. Where are you based?

Shame Obs didnt get to make this. I bet it would have been much better than both AvP2010 and ACM put together.

alpah protocol was a good game, and also i did like more new vegas than fallout 3, therefore based in that potential i suppose this would have been the same case with this game, it is a shame it was canned especially for a shotter.

@7 I havnt played it but i have heard its a good game but i also heard its the exact same gameplay as mass effect 1 which imo is pretty weak and shitty gameplay, I too also preferred NV to F3 but i personally think the wouldnt be that good, maybe better then avp2010 and colonial marines but only just
