Halo 4: Spartan Ops – Episode 10 “Exodus” trailer sees Jul’s final plan set in motion
343 Industries has released a trailer for Halo 4:Spartan Ops- Episode 10. In the “Exodus” trailer, Jul ‘Mdama’s “final plan is set in motion,” and Spartan Palmer and other members of Fireteam Majestic are dispatched on a “do or die mission”. Spartan Ops: Episode 10 comes with new CG cinematics and five new gameplay chapters. It will be made available on Xbox Live Monday, February 18. Video and shots are below.

Can you play these single-player, or do you *have* to play them in co-op?

@2 you can yeah, but the volume of enemies and difficulty on higher tiers has been geared to co-op play.

There are infinite respawns, not checkpoint based like the Singleplayer. So it’s easier than playing Singleplayer atleast. Also a good way to earn lots of XP (you get more XP from spartan ops than the actual PVP multiplayer from my experience).

@4 Being easy and suitable for grinding makes it mindless in my view. They need to play test them properly (including scaling enemies for the number of players), set a number of lives for heroic and legendary, and allow offline system link (as with firefight). These offline co-op experiences are also crying out for dedicated servers – lag is game breaking for non hosts (though not a problem for regular competitive mp)
