The 90′s Arcade Racer funded on Kickstarter, pays tribute to Sega arcade racers
The 90′s Arcade Racer has been successfully funded on Kickstarter and is heading to the Wii U eShop, PC, Linux, iOS and Android soon. If you’re a fan of Sega’s classic arcade driving sims, such as Sega Rally 2, Daytona USA and Scud Race, then you absolutely need to check this out.
At the time of writing, the game’s Kickstarter campaign has amassed £11,581 of its £10,000 goal with five days left on the clock.
Developed by indie dev Pelikan13, The 90′s Arcade Racer captures the blue skies, bright colours and over-enthusiastic announcers of the classic arcade racing genre.
Here’s a big batch of very blue, but wonderfully retro screens:
Thanks cubed3.

If I go to an Arcade I still love to play Daytona. Such a fun game.

Looking forward to this. I’m a fan of arcadey racers, especially SEGA ones. Speaking of SEGA racers, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed absolutely did not disappoint. I’ve been playing that with friends and it’s just eradicated any memories I had of Mario Kart.
