Dragon Quest VII: Square-Enix ships 1m 3DS units in Japan

Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden has shipped 1 million copies in Japan. The good news comes as the West still desperately clings on to hope that Nintendo will publish the game on our shores.

Japanese gaming rag Famitsu reports on the numbers, and adds that Square’s 3DS remake has done big guns since it launched February 7th.

No Western release has been announced, but surely these positive figures will go some way towards justifying a Western release. We’ll have more if it happens.

Thanks Gematsu.
