The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as you know, is in development at CD Projekt RED and according to director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and lead quest designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, the team tried to include as much fan feedback from The Witcher 2 as possible.

You can hear the men discuss the development through the video interview posted on Game Informer.

According to what we gleaned from the video, players can expect the story to be more about what Geralt wants, and will provide answers to questions relating to part of his past. “This is the last part of the trilogy,” said Tomaszkiewicz, “and our biggest goal is to finish it with a big surprise. With a huge twist. ”

Witcher 3 is slated for high-end consoles and PC in 2014.

Since they want feedback in order to improve their game, I would like to offer some.

The Witcher 2 was terrible, the only good thing about it was boobs. Please release a game with more boobs, and less of everything else that The Witcher was about. Thanks.

Fix the combat system, just steal it from Batman Arkham series, that would be ideal. Better voice acting, loose American accents and modern slang, write better characters and plot. Reintroduce choice and consequence as it was in the first game.

Batman’s combat was the height of tedium. No thanks.

and that’s why you don’t take user feedback into account when making a new game. THEY’LL NEVER AGREE ON ANYTHING.

Yeah choice and consequence was mostly nonexistent in the second game, compared to the original. They promoise us more meaningfull story, but I kind of sceptical with the open world. Tying the books and games is mandatory for me. And lastly more memorable characters as in the original. The most developed character(Triss) was missing for 2/3 of the game and both Iorveth and Roche are pretty bland characters. The main enemy was also pretty undeveloped. Also bring back the neutral path, which was totally lacking in the sequel and actually is in some way the cannon.

Ignore all the fan feedback and keep making the best RPGs in the world, or end up a sad story like bioware, hmmm that’s a tough one.
