Dark Souls dev’s Ninja Blade free on Green Man Gaming this weekend, plus more

Ninja Blade is among a list of free games being given away by Green Man Gaming and Playfire this weekend. It’s a truly bat-shit mental hack n’ slash game from Dark Souls developer From Software. It may not be the best brawler out there, but if you want a dose of fun with your gaming then you absolutely need to play it.

PCGamesN reports that GMG and Playfire’s weekend deals kick off today. Here’s a timetable of what’s free and when:

  • Zombies – Available from 12:00 GMT, Friday 8th February
  • Ninja Blade – Available from 12:00 GMT, Saturday 9th February
  • Unstoppable Gorg – Available from 12:00 GMT, Sunday 10th February
  • Superstar V8 Next Challenge – Available from 12:00 GMT, Monday 11th February

To get the goodies, you have to register accounts at both GMG and Playfire, and then link both accounts. Here’s a tutorial on how to do that.

Let me know if you get Ninja Blade. Seriously, it’s nuts.

Fromsoftware were stupid to release Ninja Blade on xbox, when it already supported or had NInja Gaiden.

they should have made it exclusive for ps3

Personally I’d say releasing Ninja Blade on any platform was a mistake.

Granted it was stuffed to the gills with QTE’s and Sony folk seem to swallow that shite more readily.

It was just hilarious, over the top fun. Not a masterpiece but it’s still enjoyable if you kick back and switch off a bit.
