Obscure getting reboot on PC, PS3 & Xbox 360: trailer revealed

Remember Obscure? The horror game that starred four students fighting a manner of mutated beasts? It’s being rebooted as a colourful, gory and rather insane-looking 2.5D action game on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this Spring. Developer Mighty Rocket Studio has revealed the game’s first teaser trailer.

A statement from the studio confirms that the game has co-op play, and lets you play as one of four students, each with unique abilities as you rack up combos by beating mutants into a fine red mist.

The game has been in development for over a year and will include levelling up unlocks, new weapons, extra skills and global leader boards.

oh dear. When you said Obscure was returning… :) when i saw that “interpretation”… D: That’s horrid. If Obscure fell into a wardrobe with Monster Madness, you’d end up with that, and I’d still need to scrub my eyes!

First I thought it was good Idea because it had premise then I saw trailer and now I must agree with @1
