Halo 4: Monday update re-adds 'Team Snipers' playlist, more

Halo 4's string of Monday updates continues with the re-addition of Team Snipers and Team Objective playlists. There's even a new Team Throwdown playlist on the cards.

An update on Halo: Waypoint spools off the update's contents, which kick off with Team Snipers, which chucks two teams of four snipers in a race to net 60 kills.

The Shotty Snipers playlist is the same except swapping out sniper rifles for shotguns and grenades, taking place on medium-sized maps for in your face buck-shottery.

343's Jessica Shea teased, "Also, we're in the process of building additional new Snipers game types that we'll introduce in upcoming weeks. For those of you wondering about the duration of the Team Snipers playlist fear not - we plan on keeping it around for a while."

Monday will also add Team Objective into the mix, which are quick 4v4 matches of Oddball, King of the Hill and Regicide. Shea added, "The biggest changes you'll see to these game types are that Complex Oddball has been removed, and instant respawn has been disabled for both KoTH and Oddball."

343's new playlist Team Throwdown will launch Monday February 18th, although no details of what it involves were revealed so far. We'll update when we can.

Check out Shea's blog post above, there's plenty more rules and match type parameters to read up on ahead of Monday's update.
