Unity commits to BlackBerry 10 support

The increasingly popular Unity engine is headed to BlackBerry 10, the smartphone developer's latest OS and the heart of upcoming PlayBook tablets. BlackBerry 10 support will be an optional add-on for Unity's development kit, and is currently under development with a beta expected in northern spring ahead of a summer release. Unity has over 1.5 million developers on board its ultra-portable engine, and BlackBerry acknowledge the importance of making games available in order to drive mobile hardware sales.
