Animal Crossing: New Leaf still a hit in Japan 

Animal Crossing: New Leaf remains in the number one spot on the Media Create charts as does 3DS LL in the hardware sector.

On the software side, Level-5 and Brownie Brown’s Fantasy Life came in second, followed by DmC: Devil May Cry and New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS - which now sits at almost 2 million in sales for the regions.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale debuted this week at number five, and was one of three new releases for the week - when you combine the PSP and PS3 versions of Accel World: Kasoku no Chouten.

Hardware ales were down over the prior week, almost across the board, barring 3DS LL which moved 51,654 units compared to 48,226 the prior week.

Also, Xbox 360 sales were up, with the console shifting 870 units compared to the 611 units moved the week prior. A 360 title isn't in the top 20, so there must have been a new release somewhere on the full chart.
