Fire Emblem: Awakening US release delayed, retailers suggest

Fire Emblem: Awakening hits the 3DS's eShop in the US on February 4, but reports suggest the physical release may lag a few days behind.

GameInformer spoke to several retailers and was informed that a small delay was likely.

Best Buy said it didn't expect the game till February 6, while GameStop put the likely date as February 8. Amazon hasn't supplied a new date but expects delays.

The retailers blamed shipping issues for the setback.

A 3DS exclusive tactical RPG, Fire Emblem: Awakening has received high praise ahead of launch. It's due in Europe in April.
