Special Forces: Team X screens & trailer have a faint whiff of Borderlands

Special Forces: Team X is the new team-based, third-person tactical shooter from Zombie Studios. It launches on PC and Xbox 360 digitally later this year and publisher Microprose has unveiled a batch of screens and a trailer that show people getting blown up, chainsaw-wielding maniacs, soldiers being stabbed violently and a ludicrous amount of expended bullets. They also have a slight Borderlands feel to them. See for yourself below.

Thanks to GodisaGeek for the trailer. Here are the screens:

Microprose published this?!

Good lord. I remember back in the late 80′s/early 90′s when all they did was develop and self-publish nerdy flight sims of various flavours.

Funny to see them around and publishing this sort of stuff.

Heh, nice one :)

Also, the trailer says its out next week, rather than later in the year as the article states. Really not trying to be a walking penis or anything, just wanted to put the emphasis on the fact that the game is arriving sooner rather than later!

Very interested in the map combinations and what all that entails. Thats probably the biggest complaint I have about mulitplayer games, is that the maps feel stale rather quickly.
