Ratchet & Clank Vita: Sony's silence causing Insomniac 'frustration'

Ratchet & Clank QForce - or 'Full Frontal Assault' if you're in America - was developed by Insomniac Games, but the PS Vita build is being created by Tin Giant. However, it's nowhere to be seen, and Insomniac games has expressed frustration over Sony's silence over the matter.

Insomniac responded to fan question over the issue on its official Facebook page. The post in question has since been removed, but Polygon managed to nab it before it was nuked.

It reads:

Hey everyone,

We know you've been asking about and waiting for Full Frontal Assault for Vita.

Insomniac cannot make any comment about the game. We have repeatedly asked Sony and Tin Giant for an update to share with our fans. They have not provided any update we are allowed to share.

We are sorry for any disappointment, but there is nothing we've authorized to release publicly. Trust us in that we share your frustration, and have been passing your comments on to Sony, we also advise you contact Sony directly to share your disappointment and frustration.

As soon as they give us an update we can share with you, we will.

Thanks,
IG

Insomniac is continuing its support for QForce on PS3 in the meantime, and while it's supposed to be a cross-buy title with Vita, it seems gamers will have to wait for the privilege of playing it on their shiny OLED screen.

Thanks Shacknews.
