Epic Games has announced the release of Epic Citadel for Android devices, which is the free app used to demonstrate the studio’s Unreal Engine 3 tech.

You can pick it up on Google Play and Amazon Appstore, and it comes with a benchmarking mode and updated visuals.

In Epic Citadel, players navigate the “dynamic fantasy setting” Infinity Blade. The app was created using the same UE3 tools used to develop PC, console and mobile games.

An update for the app has also been released on iOS to support high-resolution devices and more striking aesthetics. It is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
