EA joins HRC business coalition to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act
Electronic Arts announced it has joined a coalition of businesses that aim to end federal discrimination against legally married gay and lesbian couples.

The Human Rights Campaign is striving to abolish The Defense of Marriage Act, and EA is joining “The Business Coalition for DOMA Repeal”, as reported by Game Politics.
A number of huge business have joined the campaign, which is being referred to as the “Respect for Marriage Act.” Other companies involved include eBay, Marriot and Thomson Reuters.

Nick, you should change that right away.
They’re in no way in support of the DOMA, they are very much against it.
Being in support of DOMA is denying gays their rights.

My bad, I didn’t quite catch the “Respect” thing, that’s a bit confusing. But how does it come “via” the Defense of Marriage Act?

Thanks man, that’s a lot easier to understand for dumb guys like me
I just had no idea they called the campaign the “Respect for Marriage Act”. That sounds pompous enough to be a Republican bill all its own.
Oh well, good on EA for getting on the right side of history.
