EA joins HRC business coalition to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act

Electronic Arts announced it has joined a coalition of businesses that aim to end federal discrimination against legally married gay and lesbian couples.

The Human Rights Campaign is striving to abolish The Defense of Marriage Act, and EA is joining "The Business Coalition for DOMA Repeal", as reported by Game Politics.

A number of huge business have joined the campaign, which is being referred to as the "Respect for Marriage Act." Other companies involved include eBay, Marriot and Thomson Reuters.
