Battlefield 3: End Game DLC includes “Air Superiority” mode
Battlefield 3 multiplayer is set to add “Air Superiority” mode with the upcoming Endgame DLC.
As spotted on NeoGaf, this brings dropships to the game for the first time. Troop transport can be air dropped into battle, allowing the dynamic of each encounter to dramatically change.
This DLC will also include four new maps, three new vehicles (including dirt bikes), and a return for Capture the Flag. Head on over here for more details.

Really this should have been in from day 1.
Getting enough jet experience to actually succeed in the air is next to impossible for newbies because of limited jet access.

Worth noticing – this info were leaked couple of months ago. In the same leak, there were details about BF4 – coming this year on next-gen in 60FPS.
