@1: are you serious? I mean, basically the games can be bought for even cheaper on PC and have always remained available everywhere, including Square’s website. I still have my Hitman 2 PC copy on disc and it runs wonderfully on my PC and will probably look better or “as good” as this HD trilogy (still, I’ll get this to play it on my home TV, on my PS3).

They didn’t “need” to re-release the games on PC, unless they would fully change graphics, textures, etc. otherwise there wouldn’t have been enough difference to justify a purchase.

BRILLIANT series of videogames. Amazing narrative, awesome gameplay. THAT MUSIC! Thanks mainly to Mr. Kyd. My favorites are Silent Assassin and Blood Money and I’m so happy I’m finally able to re-play them on HD on my console. I still feel the games need a little more antialias and filters, though. But let’s wait to see. If they look like the PC games with all the settings on max… perfect!

Meh it seems it is more than just upping the resolution, I’ll see when the box gets here. It also would be more convenient running older games on win7.
