Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX localisation underway - rumour

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX has not been confirmed for western release, but one franchise voice actor has hinted that it's happening.

Jesse McCartney plays Roxas in the English-voiced versions of Kingdom Hearts, and shared an image on Instagram showing the character on screen in a recording booth.

"For all you Kingdom Hearts fans. Recording the next chapter," he said.

No new Kingdom Hearts game has been announced or teased following the release of Dream Drop Distance in mid-2012, and while a third numbered entry is certainly expected, it's unlikely it would be in localisation pre-announce, given Square Enix's historical pattern.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, on the other hand, is a strong contender. The PlayStation 3 released bundles all games prior to Kingdom Hearts 2 in one, HD remastered package, and hits Japan in March.
