Battlefield 3: PS3 & Xbox 360 server migration to cause downtime on Monday

Battlefield 3's PS3 and Xbox 360 servers will see downtime this coming Monday, January 28th, due to server migration on both formats. DICE has outlined the incoming changes and has posted details for those leasing servers.

An update on the Battlelog Blog explained that the downtime would occur at 22:00 PST - That's 06:00 GMT and 07:00 European time on Tuesday 29th respectively.

The post explains that the downtime will go towards optimising Battlefield 3 online play, and added that any players in the "South US" region will see no changes to their server lease period, which will run its course as planned.

However, anyone in this region will have to start a new lease once the current one is up, and should use either the "East US" or "West US" regions when registering a new lease instead.
