Battlefield 3: PS3 & Xbox 360 server migration to cause downtime on Monday
Battlefield 3′s PS3 and Xbox 360 servers will see downtime this coming Monday, January 28th, due to server migration on both formats. DICE has outlined the incoming changes and has posted details for those leasing servers.
An update on the Battlelog Blog explained that the downtime would occur at 22:00 PST – That’s 06:00 GMT and 07:00 European time on Tuesday 29th respectively.
The post explains that the downtime will go towards optimising Battlefield 3 online play, and added that any players in the “South US” region will see no changes to their server lease period, which will run its course as planned.
However, anyone in this region will have to start a new lease once the current one is up, and should use either the “East US” or “West US” regions when registering a new lease instead.
Thanks MP1st.

And I bet people in “South US” will be paying the same despite the fact that they’ll be paying for servers much further away (i.e. shitter service)

so there ain’t enough people playing the game to sustain different servers for ps3 and x360?… looks like bf3 is becoming a joke on consoles.

I SO miss Battlefield. But until they remove Origin requirements on the PC, I wont touch it.
Still probably the daddy of shooters
