Killer is Dead: XSEED downplays US publishing rumours
Killer is Dead – Grasshopper Manufacture’s rather mad-sounding hack n’ slash title – has been tied to publisher XSEED following a string of domain name registrations that appeared earlier this week. The publisher has contacted VG247 to deliver a frank, but painfully short debunker.

In a note sent to VG247, an XSEED rep stated, “XSEED Games cannot confirm that they are publishing Killer is Dead in North America.”
See? I told you it was short.
Regardless, Grasshopper founded Suda 51 has been talking about Killer is Dead in this week’s issue of Famitsu. He has discussed the game’s visual style and enemy types – including Yakuza that ride on tigers. All in a day’s work eh Suda?
We’ve also got the game’s debut trailer and a batch of screens. Enjoy!

Seeing that the trailer was subtitled in English, it MAY indicate the possibility or the will from the developers to have a western release.
Fingers crossed
If this is not released in Europe/US, let’s at least hope the Japanese version will have English subtitles and menus, so we can import the game.
