South African Dota 2 "Do Gaming League" is largest to-date with 116 team sign ups

Registrations for a South African Dota 2 league have closed, with 116 teams signing up to compete in the tournament, making it the largest Dota 2 tournament to-date.

Entries for the “Do Gaming League”, a.k.a. DGL, opened in November and closed on Sunday, January 20.

The Summer Leg of the tournament will start on January 29 (it's summer down there, ya know), with teams battling for supremacy until March 25.

The Winter Leg of the tour will decide which team is the ultimate Champion.

Last year the tournament handed out 500,000 Rand (£35,000/$55,000) in prizes.
